Oahu Family Photographer | North Shore Family Session
This north shore family session was perfect for the Miller family’s last portraits on the island. One of my favorite sessions is when a family leaves the island. It’s not that I am happy they are leaving, quite the contrary. However, when families leave, they want to take a little piece of Oahu with them. Most will choose their favorite beach, or park or hike to visit one last time. Some will even want to to take some portraits in their home so the children have something to look back on when they’re grown. Where ever you want to take those final portraits before leaving the island, the most important thing to remember is to make sure it is somewhere you love and will miss.
The Millers loves the beach. To swim, to surf, to stand up paddle, you name it. However their fur baby is not so much of a fan. Photographing families and their fur babies is a lot of fun. They truly have personalities all of their own. And Zzyzx was no exception. I had photographed Zzyzx and his momma before, so I knew he was an incredibly behaved fur baby. But he wanted nothing at all to do with the water and spent half his time looking for escape routes off the beach. We did however manage to get some beautiful family portraits (with Zzyzx in there smiling) for the Millers to hang in their new home on the mainland.
