It is always such an honor to be present for a military homecoming, but this one was a little more special. Matt’s return home to Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, would be his last before the family PCS’d (Permanent Change of Station) to Nevada. I’ve known Laura for a few years through a photography group here on Oahu. It will be sad to see them leave, but we know in the military, it is never good bye, just so long for now. Thank you for your service, Matt. And thank you Laura for taking care of your home, son and live in general here while Matt’s been gone. All the best in Nevada. I know secretly, your heart will always be somewhere on the beach here in Hawaii!
